Delegated Fund Scheme

Applying for Funding from the Clitheroe the Future Delegated Fund Scheme.

If you wish to apply for a grant of up to £5,000, first of all read the sections on Project Criteria and Eligibility.

When you are sure that you meet the conditions, either print the application form off, or write to Clitheroe the Future and request a application form to be sent to you by post.

Delegated Fund Application Form in Adobe PDF format(43kb) - Application Form

Take your time filling in the form, and complete all sections. Give as much information as you can to support your application. If you need any help or advice, contact us and we will guide you through the application process.

Once your form has been received, it will be checked and if any information is missing, we will send it back to you. Completed applications are then passed to two trained appraisers, who examine the project and compare it against the conditions and criteria set by Clitheroe the Future. Sometimes the appraisers may need further information and if so, will contact you.

We aim to process all applications as quickly as possible, but our appraisers are all volunteers, and it can take several days before an appraisal is carried out.

Once the appraisers have approved a project, it is put before the Executive Committee of Clitheroe the Future at the next monthly meeting. The project is discussed and voted on. Again, some members may require further information before deciding to approve a project, or they might wish to amend the application or add further conditions.

When the Executive has reached a decision to approve the project, an offer letter will be sent to you, which you should sign and return.

Clitheroe the Future will also send you claim forms to be completed as the project progresses, which you should return with the appropriate invoices. The funding will be paid to you when the invoices are received.

The maximum grant is £5,000.
